History:

My Mustang was born Nov 24 1967 in the Metuchen N.J. Build plant.

It was LimeGold with a Parchment Interior. Some features were an AM

Radio, Power Steering, and Deluxe Wheel Covers. My Mustang resided

In the Rochester NY area. The car was last inspected in 1977, so we

Believed it lived a short and somewhat difficult life. The Mustang sat for

About 20 plus years, until it made it’s way to North East Pennsylvania.

Present:

I became the owner of this mustang on Christmas Day 2004. My

Husband and son had came across it, they put together a plan and

Brought it home to me!! After recovering from my shock I immediately

Took pictures. They gave me about a week to realize it was mine and

Come up with ideas. Then it was into the garage. We had the interior

Out in one evening. We uncovered some pretty big holes in the floor

And a really nasty  bondo job on the front fender. We are still in the

Disassembly period. We are making lists of the replacement parts.

A lot of metal panels need to be replaced such as fenders, Quarters,

Doors and floors.

Future:

When my Mustang’s rebirth is complete it should come pretty close

To this vision:

Interior: White Seats, door panels, and lower dash.

Dark Blue carpet, blue trim and seat belts

                      Dash pad etc.

We plan on add Air Conditioning as well

Exterior: Blue Paint, White Accents, Chrome Bumpers

And trim. We plan to upgrade the Wheels to

                         16”.

Drive train: 289 will be upgraded with 9:1 Compression

                             4 Barrel 650cfm carb.  Mild mid-range cam

with new lifters. Maybe a Super Charger if

budget will allow after all the sheet metal

                              work is complete..
